Character

Name: Haruno Sakura
Fandom: Naruto
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Time Period: Chapter 487 Highlight for spoilers: [Just after the confrontation with Sasuke where she tried to kill him/he tried to kill her and she has to give Naruto the antidote to the poison she put on a kunai.]
Wing Color: Light pink like her hair
History: wikia
Personality: While girls her age are usually obsessed with boys, fashion, and other like-minded things, Sakura focuses more on friendships, missions, and training. In order to become a stronger shinobi she had to forgo being girly. She hasn't ever really minded this, though - it's not like it particularly suited herself as much as it does other girls like her best friend, Ino. Which is not to say that Sakura dislikes boys, fashion, or other such stuff, but that she doesn't feel she has right to it when she has to train to become a stronger, more useful person. Unfortunately this means she is also rather busy a large portion of the time since there is a lot to learn.

Sakura has the ability to form deep friendships with people because of her honest, trustworthy nature. She's thoughtful and caring enough to ask what's wrong and try to help someone, even if they're a stranger to her. If they're reluctant to open up, she will at least try her best to make sure that they're comfortable and well taken care of while she's around. Even if it means just having the comfort of another person in the area, and that they don't actually talk - she's happy to just be there for someone. In fact, she'll also go out of her way to check on them later, making sure that they're feeling better. Sakura is, on the other hand, smart enough to realize when they're just taking her for granted. If that's the case, she will put some distance between herself and that person so that they eventually learn to do things for themselves. She was in that position once in her life, where everyone was protecting her and she knows just how detrimental it is to someone's development and wouldn't wish it on anyone else.

There is a phrase that goes "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned", and the same thing can be said of Sakura. She possesses a wicked right hook and the temper to actively punch someone if they piss her off enough. Naruto has felt this wrath on numerous occasions. In fact all of Team 7 has felt or seen the effects of this wrath up close and personal. Sakura's temper is vicious, though she keeps it in check around people who don't know her as well. However, it will be sparked up if someone insults her, grabs her inappropriately, talks about her or another female's body in any way she deems disrespectful or vile, and if anyone hurts those she cares about.

Like a typical female though, Sakura can be bossy and loud when she's annoyed. Almost flat out argumentative, if not for the fact that she makes damn sure she's at the top of the food chain or can at least stand high enough to make sure she's heard. In a mood like this, she won't hold her tongue as well as she could if she were in a better mood, and can get quite mean if she doesn't care enough for how she's coming across to someone.

On the other end of the spectrum, Sakura is notably bashful if someone takes an interest in something she's done. This is when her more hidden girl nature comes out, which isn't often. If we're talking about accomplishments, Sakura will take it with a grain of salt so as not to inflate her ego, though she is grateful for the compliment all the same. She doesn't get them often. If we're talking about someone taking a love interest in her, she honestly wouldn't know what to say, other than tell them she's not interested. Whether she still has feelings for Sasuke or getting over heartbreak is unclear. Perhaps she fancies someone else instead, who knows? Sakura is actually rather prudish and somewhat insecure about her body. Most notably her large forehead, though. Making physical advances on her will ultimately result in a black eye unless you're her former teammate, Uchiha Sasuke. Then she might know what to do even less considering she knows he doesn't have an interest for her in the slightest, despite whatever feelings she has for him. Which is another thing entirely - Sakura's heart isn't easily wiggled into, so her pursuer(s?) would have to have an incredible amount of patience and slowly worm their way in.

Sakura is also a rather observant and cautious person since she knows how the world works. She is a ninja, after all - their world is brutal. However, when she's in the comfort of her own home and around friends, her guard drops dramatically. It's likely that she would fall for pranks and get spooked by friends easily if she's not paying attention properly.

She can be really quite curious about things, but knows when and when not to ask questions if it's not going to benefit anyone. In fact, Sakura respects peoples privacy if and when she can help it, opting not to make things more complicated than they need to be. She's level headed and smart enough to make that judgement call based on what information she has and what she needs, but also if she thinks she can get it from someone because they might know something she doesn't.

Strengths:
Physical
Since she has some of the best chakra control in her village, she was trained as a medical ninja by one of the best in the field; her village's strongest woman and their current Hokage, Tsunade. After being under her wing, Sakura has grown in leaps and bounds, not only in strength and ability but she's grown in confidence as well. She's talked about even amongst other villages as being on her way to becoming one of the best med nin's out there, like her mentor. Though that isn't the only thing that she's learned from Tsunade. Whatever frightening physical strength Sakura possessed before her training, it's amplified tremendously. With a little chakra enhancing, Sakura is able to literally break the ground and make it quake under her fist. This is obviously something she's going to lament over in Luceti until she's adjusted to the power restriction.

Sakura is also one hell of a healer, be it using chakra or medical know-how. She also won't give up until she knows that she's done all she can for her patient.

Mental
Sakura rather enjoys learning, which she does at a staggeringly fast pace. Especially if it needs practical application like healing someone with her chakra. When Kankuro was poisoned by Sasori, Sakura was able to detect the poison and remove it with her chakra, then give him an antidote she concocted out of the removed poison. She was only able to identify the toxins because she spent enough time studying. Sakura was also one of the only ones from her village in the Chuunin exams to actually know all the answers on the test, and find it easy.

When she was younger she was always the burden of her team, and always just an extra body to protect during a mission. Sometimes, she would also be the reason her team got into more trouble than need be, because they had to cover for her as well. This is why she's better now, though. When she realized just how weak she was in comparison to the rest of her team and was forced to protect them on her own, it was with the help of friends that she started to get stronger. Lee, along with her rivalry with Ino and her teammates strength, helped form her resolve to become more useful to the people she needed to keep up with. She wanted to walk alongside her team and not watch as they left her behind. The day she fought Ino seriously in the Chuunin battles was the day she grew up and vowed to quit being crybaby Sakura. As a result, she grew in both strength and confidence, and is now competent enough to perform the tasks required of her as a shinobi and friend. Thanks to them, she was able to grow up.

Emotional
When she was younger there was a split in her personality where there was the polite, proper Outter Sakura, and the sassy wild child Inner Sakura. As she grew up and into herself, these two personalities merged to form the woman she is currently. A confident, hard working, sometimes hot tempered teenager with ambition and strength. She wants to help people and be able to stand on their level so that she can be useful to the people she cares about and trusts.

Weaknesses:
Physical
Even now, when she's grown into a more competent person, she can sometimes be hesitant and need saving once in a while. This usually results in some kind of depression or deep thought process. It always has to do with someone she cares about as well. Naruto almost killed her by accident in Kyuubi form, and Sasuke definitely almost did until both Kakashi and Naruto intervened.

Sometimes she doesn't know her own strength. Not necessarily chakra enhanced strikes, but she can definitely hurt someone with her bare fist if she's not cautious. Sakura has had to apologize and help pull them from the ground before.

Mental
Sometimes Sakura can be a little selfish and insensitive to peoples feelings. On more than one occasion she's hurt teammates as well as Ino. As seen when Sakura selfishly asked Naruto to bring Sasuke back, knowing how he felt about her but too heartbroken to care. As well as during the first days of Sai and Yamato being in Team 7, Sai would insult her and Naruto with fake smiles, earning some mean words from Sakura, even if he deserved it at he time. Later she was patient with him, trying to get to know him better. She also declared at a young age that her and Ino would be enemies of love, because they both had feelings for the same boy. Before that point, Ino had been the only one to befriend and defend her when people were picking on her. Some way to repay her, huh? At least with Sasuke out of the picture they were able to repair their friendship, though they sometimes have relapses of when they were rivals - if only to egg the other on as an odd form of encouragement.

Sakura has since grown out of this flaw, but she used to be terribly judgmental when she was younger. When she met Lee, she was so repulsed by how unattractive she thought he was that when he winked at her, she went out of her way to avoid them floating to her. She then shuddered and said he was creepy. Later on when he tried to help her, even after that terrible display, he actually became one of the people that inspired her to grow up and as a result ended up as one of her precious friends.

At a younger age, Sakura used to sometimes get a superiority complex of things. She's less like a know-it-all now that she's older, but it's still notable by the way she used to explain things in a more dumbed down nature to Naruto when he was made of nothing but fail and determination. That was also when she didn't respect him or have deep feelings of friendship toward him.

Emotional
Sakura is terribly sentimental. She gets the warm fuzzies when she thinks about all the good times she's had with people. This can sometimes lead to her having blind faith of someone because she naively thinks the better of them. In the case of Sasuke, she knew he would be different, but didn't realize just how much. It lead to her being stunned because she wasn't prepared for what was to come.

Sakura can act a little more than foolish if she's the one who's taken it upon herself to set something right. In the case of Naruto's promise with her to bring Sasuke back, she selfishly shouldered the burden on him when she shouldn't have, and later on tried to lie to him in order to take the burden away. It ended up not only nearly killing her, but hurting Naruto emotionally and physically since the poison dagger meant to kill Sasuke was instead accidentally used on Naruto.

When Sakura's temper is in full swing... well. It's just not good. She is likely to break bones if she's not careful. Even Konohamaru has suffered her fist of fury, the poor lad.

When she has to find someone she can be awfully bossy and naggy when bringing them back. Usually, they get an ear full of this naggery because she's annoyed that she's had to do it. Sometimes it almost looks like she's Naruto's wife since he's the poor lad that bears most of that naggery. She will claim it's his fault, though - he should know better than to shirk duties or lollygag around when Tsunade wants to talk to him.

First Person:
- Action / Accidental Video -

[As Sakura picks her clothing up off the forest floor, one hand is clutching the top of her dress to keep it firmly planted against her bosoms. She already feels violated enough without any other strangers happening to see her like this, thank you very much. But as she pulls her clothes into her arms a book drops from beneath the cloak settled on top. It hits the grass with a soft thud, diverting her eyes to it immediately.]

Eh? I don't remember bringing a book with me.

[The bubblegum haired girl squats cautiously down and picks the journal up, flipping it to the first page. She blinks.]

...What the heck is this?

[Her fingering slips, causing her to almost drop what she's holding. Sakura quickly grabs it as fast as she can, though that means she accidentally brushes her thumb over the video in all her position shifting. Hello Luceti, meet Haruno Sakura!]

Jeez. I can't believe I can be so clumsy sometimes.

[She sounds frustrated with herself, doesn't she? Watch as the background moves behind her when she stands, holding her clothing to her chest in the process. Also watch as she begins muttering to herself as she stares at the journal in inspection. She also bites her bottom lip for a moment.]

Is this some kind of picture book? It's weird looking. I don't remember buying anything like this. It doesn't even look like anything I've seen back home before.

[Watch the proverbial light bulb switch on over her head.]

Why is my picture in it? Oh, this is creepy... First the wings and now this book? What kind of place am I in?

Third Person:
In the middle of a thick, lush forest was a beautiful green meadow where wild flowers grew in small patches of pinks, blues, and yellows. The grass was unusually short for being the forest floor, suggesting that animals came to feed on it regularly. The light filtering through a small hole in the tree tops didn't show just how vibrant the area was, but it did shed like on one blossom in particular. A Sakura with pure pink locks in the shade of bubblegum and pale pink skin. She wore a white sun dress that seemed to just barely cover her shoulders, but flowed around her body where it stopped at the back of her knees and pooled around the sides of her sleeping form.

It seemed as though she might be a princess just waking into a dream, except the groaning she did as she awoe was very unladylike.

Sakura's senses were overwhelmed by the fresh scent of the outdoors and morning dew as she pulled her face from the ground she slept on. She pushed herself onto her hands and knees, hissing as pain in her back shot to her arms and down her sides like fire. Flopping onto her backside unceremoniously, the fabric of her sundress fanned out slightly as her knees bent at an odd angle to keep herself covered. For the most part, she was unaware of her surroundings, but now completely wide awake as she reached a hand back to see what was causing the pain.

What she found there was positively startling. Feathers.

...And wings. When did she get wings?!

Sakura's body arched, causing her chest to stick out as her arms moved out of the way and she craned her neck to see this new strange accessory. They were pink. Like her hair. Oh dear kami-sama, they were cute! But how in the heck did they get there? Where was she, even?

A million more questions flooded into her mind as she stare at the pink feathers, until jade green eyes looked up to take in her surroundings. So, she was in the middle of a meadow with wings attached to her back, and... she really didn't think she was...

Actually, where was she the last she remembered?

Sakura's bewilderment and curiosity evaporated instantly as she remembered having to administer an antidote to Naruto after her kunai - meant for Uchiha Sasuke - accidentally nicked her friend. The wings on her back mirrored her sudden pang of guilt as they painfully relaxed even more against her back. She'd failed her own mission and managed to hurt Naruto again. Haruno Sakura, you are a horrible person! She inwardly berated herself.

Suddenly frustrated with herself, the teenaged girl planted her hands onto the forest floor and readied herself to stand... only to realize her clothing was in a neatly folded pile not too far away from her. Which only made her realize that she had somehow managed to get out of them. She sure as heck didn't do it! This lead to Sakura looking down and taking note that she was wearing a flimsy sundress. She blushed a deep crimson because the implications of that were incredibly huge, and they made her feel violated.
